Business Continuity Preparedness
We understand and appreciate our role in supporting employers and their employees by providing health insurance enrollments, payroll deductions, and other benefits administration services.
We consider the role we play in the lives of employees we serve as a privilege. That’s why we are doing everything we can to ensure they do not face any disruption in service levels during this time. The health and wellbeing of each of our employees, clients, and partners are top of mind and our highest priority.
The operations at Workforce Junction have always been globally distributed, with team members being very familiar with working remotely while collaborating effectively with other team members, clients and employees of clients we serve. Our work locations span multiple states in the US as well as multiple cities in India. It is relatively simple to switch to employees being fully remote or working from home, at any of our locations.
Prior to “shelter at home” orders in California, all of our teams completed a number of remote working drills which subsequently made the transition go smoothly.
Our call center is the first point of contact for employees of many of our clients, not only during their Open Enrollment, but all through the year. We are closely monitoring the call center load and are meeting upticks in volume with an ‘all-hands-on-deck’ approach as needed. We consider this situation as a test of our core value, “Relationships First”.
(I believe this quote gets to the heart of our commitment to you: “A crisis doesn’t imply immunity from performance management…” Lead Your Business Through the Coronavirus Crisis, Harvard Business Review)
We join all of you who are affected by this crisis, especially those with colleagues or loved ones affected by the illness, in prayerful hope for a speedy recovery. We look forward to working through this with our partners and coming out stronger in the end.
Please let me know if there’s any additional support we can provide and don’t hesitate to call me if you have any ideas or questions.
Sincerely,
Mathew Augustine, CEO
PS: Our employee communications partner Chi[ Abernathy and his team at Touchpoints have put together a very useful Covid-19 Resource page. You may wish to check it out and share it with others.
